Quran with English translation - Surah An-Naml ayat 22 - النَّمل - Page - Juz 19
﴿فَمَكَثَ غَيۡرَ بَعِيدٖ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمۡ تُحِطۡ بِهِۦ وَجِئۡتُكَ مِن سَبَإِۭ بِنَبَإٖ يَقِينٍ ﴾
[النَّمل: 22]
﴿فمكث غير بعيد فقال أحطت بما لم تحط به وجئتك من سبإ﴾ [النَّمل: 22]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But the hoopoe had not gone far. It approached him and said, “I have compassed territory which you have not compassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain findings |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So he waited not too long, then he said: I found out what you did not know it, and I brought you confirmed news from Sheba |
| Ali Quli Qarai He did not stay for long [before he turned up] and said, ‘I have alighted on something which you have not alighted on, and I have brought you from Sheba a definite report |
| Ali Unal Before long the hoopoe came up and said: "I have obtained (some important information) which you do not have, and have come to you from Sheba with reliable news |
| Hamid S Aziz But he was not long in coming, and said, "I have compassed (covered territory or found out) what you compassed (covered or understood) not; for I come unto you from Sheba with sure information |
| John Medows Rodwell Nor tarried it long ere it came and said, "I have gained the knowledge that thou knowest not, and with sure tidings have I come to thee from Saba |
| Literal So it waited/remained not far/distant, so it said: "I became aware/enveloped with what you did not become aware (of)/envelope with it, and I came to you from Sheba with sure/certain news/information |
| Mir Anees Original So without making (him) wait for long (the hoopoe came) and said, "I have acquired (knowledge) of that which you do not know, and I bring to you true news from Saba |
