﴿أَمۡ حَسِبۡتُمۡ أَن تَدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعۡلَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ جَٰهَدُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَيَعۡلَمَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 142]
﴿أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يعلم الله الذين جاهدوا منكم ويعلم﴾ [آل عِمران: 142]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Did you think that you would enter heaven without God testing those of you who fought hard and remained steadfast |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Or did you think that you enter the garden while God does not know those of you who tried hard (in His way) and those who persevered |
| Ali Quli Qarai Do you suppose that you would enter paradise, while Allah has not yet ascertained those of you who have waged jihad and He has not ascertained the steadfast |
| Ali Unal Did you suppose that you should enter Paradise without God marking out those among you who really strive hard (in His cause and marking out the patient and steadfast) |
| Hamid S Aziz Did you think that you can enter Paradise without Allah testing those of you who fight (or strive) hard, and remain steadfast |
| John Medows Rodwell Thought ye that ye should enter Paradise ere God had taken knowledge of those among you who did valiantly, and of those who steadfastly endure |
| Literal Or (have) you thought/supposed that you enter the Paradise, and God did not (E) know, those who struggled/did utmost from you, and He knows the patient |
| Mir Anees Original Do you think that you will enter the garden (paradise) while Allah has not yet known (marked out) those who strive (in His way) from among you and known (marked out) those who are patient |
