Quran with English translation - Surah Ar-Rum ayat 53 - الرُّوم - Page - Juz 21
﴿وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلۡعُمۡيِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمۡۖ إِن تُسۡمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 53]
﴿وما أنت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم إن تسمع إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا﴾ [الرُّوم: 53]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Nor can you lead back the blind from their straying. Only those will you make to hear are those who believe in Our signs and submit |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And you are not a guide to the blind (who does not one to see the truth) about their error. You can only make someone listen who believes in Our signs and they are submitted |
| Ali Quli Qarai nor can you lead the blind out of their error. You can make only those hear who have faith in Our signs and have submitted |
| Ali Unal Nor can you guide the blind out of their error. None can you make hear save those who (being capable of reflection without prejudice) believe in Our Revelations and signs (in the outer world as well as in their inner world), and are (therefore) ready to submit (to the truth) |
| Hamid S Aziz Nor can you lead away the blind out of their error. you can not make to hear any but those who believe in Our revelations so that they Surrender (in Islam) |
| John Medows Rodwell Neither canst thou guide the blind out of their error: in sooth, none shalt thou make to hear, save him who shall believe in our signs: for they are resigned to our will (Muslims) |
| Literal And you are not with guiding the blind/misguided from their misguidance, you make none hear/listen except who believes with (in) Our verses/evidences , so they are Moslems/submitters |
