﴿وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعۡنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠ ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 67]
﴿وقالوا ربنا إنا أطعنا سادتنا وكبراءنا فأضلونا السبيلا﴾ [الأحزَاب: 67]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And they would say, “Our Lord, We followed our leaders and our great ones, but they misled us as to the right path |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And they say: our Master, we obeyed our leaders and our elders (and great ones), and they misled us from the way |
| Ali Quli Qarai They will say, ‘Our Lord! We obeyed our leaders and elders, and they led us astray from the way.’ |
| Ali Unal And they will say: "Our Lord! Surely we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they caused us to follow a misleading path |
| Hamid S Aziz And they shall say, "O our Lord! Surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path |
| John Medows Rodwell And they shall say: "Oh our Lord! indeed we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the way of God |
| Literal And they said: "Our Lord, that we obeyed our masters/rulers , and our bigger ones/oldest so they misguided us (from) the two ways/paths/way/path |
