Quran with English translation - Surah Saba’ ayat 47 - سَبإ - Page - Juz 22
﴿قُلۡ مَا سَأَلۡتُكُم مِّنۡ أَجۡرٖ فَهُوَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٞ ﴾
[سَبإ: 47]
﴿قل ما سألتكم من أجر فهو لكم إن أجري إلا على الله﴾ [سَبإ: 47]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say, “No reward do I ask of you. It is all in your interest. My reward is only due from God, and He is witness to all things.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: whatever wage I asked you, it is yours, my wage is only God's responsibility, and He is witness over everything |
Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘Whatever reward I may have asked you is for your own good. My [true] reward lies only with Allah, and He is witness to all things.’ |
Ali Unal Say: "(I ask of you no wage, yet, even so) whatever you may think I might ask you for by way of wage, it is yours. My wage is only due from God. He is indeed a witness over everything |
Hamid S Aziz Say, "I ask no reward for myself (Or whatever reward I have asked of you, is yours or is only for yourselves); my reward is only with Allah, and He is a witness of all things |
John Medows Rodwell SAY: I ask not any wage from you: keep it for yourselves: my wage is from God alone. And He is witness over all things |
Literal Say: I did not ask/question you from a reward , so it is for you, that truly my reward (is) except on God, and He is on every thing (an) honest witness/testifier |
Mir Anees Original Say, “I do not ask you for a reward, but ( that which I ask you to do) is for your (benefit, the responsibility of) rewarding me (rests on none) but Allah and He is a Witness over everything.” |
