Quran with English translation - Surah Saba’ ayat 50 - سَبإ - Page - Juz 22
﴿قُلۡ إِن ضَلَلۡتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِيۖ وَإِنِ ٱهۡتَدَيۡتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِيٓ إِلَيَّ رَبِّيٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٞ قَرِيبٞ ﴾
[سَبإ: 50]
﴿قل إن ضللت فإنما أضل على نفسي وإن اهتديت فبما يوحي إلي﴾ [سَبإ: 50]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say, “If I am astray I only stray to the loss of my own soul, but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me. It is He Who hears all things, and is near.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: if I go wrong, then I go wrong only against myself, and if I am guided then it is because of what my Master revealed to me. Indeed He hears all and is near |
Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘If I go astray, my going astray is only to my own harm, and if I am rightly guided that is because of what my Lord has revealed to me. Indeed He is all-hearing and nearmost.’ |
Ali Unal Say: "Were I to go astray, it would be to my own harm (and due to my own self). And if I am rightly guided, it is by virtue of what my Lord is revealing to me. Surely He is All-Hearing, All-Near |

John Medows Rodwell SAY: If I err, verily to my own cost only shall I err: but if I have guidance, it will be of my Lord's revealing, for He is the Hearer, the near at hand |
Literal Say: "That if I became misguided so but I misguide on (to) my self, and if I was guided, so (it is) with what my Lord inspires/transmits to me, that He truly is hearing/listening, near/close |
Mir Anees Original Say, “ If I err, I err only against my own soul and if I am guided then it is because of that which my Fosterer has communicated to me, He is certainly Hearing, Near.” |
