Quran with English translation - Surah FaTir ayat 9 - فَاطِر - Page - Juz 22
﴿وَٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَرۡسَلَ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابٗا فَسُقۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٖ مَّيِّتٖ فَأَحۡيَيۡنَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلنُّشُورُ ﴾
[فَاطِر: 9]
﴿والله الذي أرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فسقناه إلى بلد ميت فأحيينا به﴾ [فَاطِر: 9]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It is God Who sends the winds, so that they raise up the clouds, and We drive them to a land that is dead, and revive the earth with it after its death. Even then the resurrection will come |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad God is the One who sent the winds, then they put cloud in motion, then We drive it to a dead land and with it We bring the earth back to life after its death. The resurrection is like that |
Ali Quli Qarai It is Allah who sends the winds and they raise a cloud; then We drive it toward a dead land and with it revive the earth after its death. Likewise will be the resurrection [of the dead] |
Ali Unal God is He Who sends forth the merciful winds, so that they set clouds to move, and We drive them towards a dead land and (thereby) We revive the earth after its death (with the rain carried in the clouds by the wind). Even so will the Resurrection be |
Hamid S Aziz And Allah is He Who sends the winds so they raise a cloud, then We drive it on to a dead country, and therewith We give life to the earth after its death; even so is the Resurrection |
John Medows Rodwell It is God who sendeth forth the winds which raise the clouds aloft: then drive we them on to some land dead from drought, and give life thereby to the earth after its death. So shall be the resurrection |
Literal And God is who sent the winds/breezes, so it erupts and spreads clouds, so We drove it to a dead country/land , so We revived with it the land/Earth after its death/lifelessness, as/like that (is) the revival/resurrection |
