Quran with English translation - Surah FaTir ayat 10 - فَاطِر - Page - Juz 22
﴿مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًاۚ إِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ ٱلۡكَلِمُ ٱلطَّيِّبُ وَٱلۡعَمَلُ ٱلصَّٰلِحُ يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡكُرُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدٞۖ وَمَكۡرُ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ ﴾
[فَاطِر: 10]
﴿من كان يريد العزة فلله العزة جميعا إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل﴾ [فَاطِر: 10]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al If any seek praise and power, to God belong all praise and power. To Him mounts up all words of purity. It is He Who exalts each deed of righteousness. Those who hatch harmful plots, for them is a penalty terrible, and the plotting of such will be void of success |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Anyone who wants the power, (should know that) all the power belongs to God, the good talk goes up to Him, and the good work raises it up. And those who plot the bad (things) have a severe punishment, and their plot leads to nothing |
| Ali Quli Qarai Whoever seeks honour [should know that] honour entirely belongs to Allah. To Him ascends the good word, and He elevates righteous conduct; as for those who devise evil schemes, there is a severe punishment for them, and their plotting shall come to naught |
| Ali Unal Whoever seeks might and glory should know that all might and glory is for God (so let him seek from Him alone). To Him ascends only the pure word (as the source of might and glory), and the good, righteous action (accompanying it) raises it. But those who are devising evil actions, for them there is a severe punishment, and their devising is bound to come to nothing |
| Hamid S Aziz Whoever desires power (or honour), then to Allah belongs the power (or honour) wholly. Unto Him do ascend good words, and good deeds does He exalt; and as for those who plan evil deeds, they shall have a severe chastisement; and their plans shall fail |
| John Medows Rodwell If any one desireth greatness, all greatness is in God. The good word riseth up to Him, and the righteous deed will He exalt. But a severe punishment awaiteth the plotters of evil things; and the plots of such will He render vain |
| Literal Who was wanting the glory/might , so to God (is) the glory/might all/all together, to Him ascends/climbs the words/expressions, the good/beautiful , and the deed the correct/righteous He raises it; and those who scheme the sins/crimes, for them (is) a strong (severe) torture, and (the) schemes (of) those it perishes/fails |
| Mir Anees Original Whoever intends to be might then (let him know that) the mighty is totally Allah’s. To Him ascend the good statements and He elevates the righteous work. And those who plan evil deeds, for them there is a severe punishment and the planning of those will be lost |
