Quran with English translation - Surah As-saffat ayat 11 - الصَّافَات - Page - Juz 23
﴿فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 11]
﴿فاستفتهم أهم أشد خلقا أم من خلقنا إنا خلقناهم من طين لازب﴾ [الصَّافَات: 11]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Just ask their opinion. Are they more difficult to create, or the other beings We have created? We have created them out of wet clay |
| Ali Quli Qarai Ask them, is their creation more prodigious or [that of other creatures] that We have created? Indeed, We created them from a viscous clay |
| Ali Unal So ask them (the polytheists): "Are they more formidable in structure or those that We have created (the heavens and the angels in them). Indeed, We have created them (human beings) from a sticky clay |
| John Medows Rodwell Ask the Meccans then, Are they, or the angels whom we have made, the stronger creation? Aye, of coarse clay have we created them |
| Literal So ask/take their opinion , are they a stronger creation, or who We created? That We created them from very sticky mud/clay |
| Mir Aneesuddin So ask them whether their creation is difficult or (of those others) whom We created, We certainly created them from sticking clay |
