﴿فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 149]
﴿فاستفتهم ألربك البنات ولهم البنون﴾ [الصَّافَات: 149]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Then ask them, do the females belong to God and the males to you |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So ask their opinion: are the daughters for your Master, and the sons for them |
| Ali Quli Qarai Ask them, are daughters to be for your Lord while sons are to be for them |
| Ali Unal So ask them, (O Messenger,) whether your Lord has daughters while sons are allotted for them |
| Hamid S Aziz Now ask them (O Muhammad) has your Lord daughters while they have sons |
| John Medows Rodwell Inquire then of the Meccans whether thy Lord hath daughters, and they, sons |
| Literal So ask/take their opinion is to your Lord the daughters, and for them (are) the sons |
| Mir Anees Original Then ask them, “Are there daughters for your Fosterer and for them sons |
| Mir Aneesuddin Then ask them, “Are there daughters for your Lord and for them sons |
