Quran with English translation - Surah Az-Zumar ayat 45 - الزُّمَر - Page - Juz 24
﴿وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُ ٱشۡمَأَزَّتۡ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ﴾
[الزُّمَر: 45]
﴿وإذا ذكر الله وحده اشمأزت قلوب الذين لا يؤمنون بالآخرة وإذا ذكر﴾ [الزُّمَر: 45]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When God, the One and Only, is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter sink with aversion, but when those other than He is mentioned, behold, they are filled with joy |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when God alone is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter is disgusted, and when those other than Him are mentioned then they are glad |
| Ali Quli Qarai When Allah is mentioned alone, [thereat] shrink away the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter, but when others are mentioned besides Him, behold, they rejoice |
| Ali Unal When God as One (and only God) is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter recoil in aversion; but when those (whom they worship) apart from Him are mentioned, they are surely gladdened |

| Literal And if God was mentioned/remembered alone (the) hearts/minds (of) those who do not believe with the end (other life) became uptight/repulsed , and if those from other than Him were mentioned/remembered then they are announcing good news/rejoicing |
