Quran with English translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 40 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿مَنۡ عَمِلَ سَيِّئَةٗ فَلَا يُجۡزَىٰٓ إِلَّا مِثۡلَهَاۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ يُرۡزَقُونَ فِيهَا بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ ﴾
[غَافِر: 40]
﴿من عمل سيئة فلا يجزى إلا مثلها ومن عمل صالحا من ذكر﴾ [غَافِر: 40]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “He who does wrong will not be rewarded except by the likes of it, and he who does a righteous deed, whether male or female, and is a believer, they will enter the garden. Therein they will have abundance without measure |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Whoever does a bad deed, then he is only punished equal to it, and whoever does good, whether male or female and is a believer then they enter the garden in which they have provision without any limit |
Ali Quli Qarai Whoever commits a misdeed shall not be requited except with its like, but whoever acts righteously, whether male or female, should he be faithful—such shall enter paradise, and they will be provided therein without any reckoning |
Ali Unal Whoever does an evil is not recompensed except with the like of it; whereas whoever does good, righteous deeds – whether man or woman – and is a believer, such will enter Paradise, being provided there without measure |
Hamid S Aziz Whoever does an evil, he shall be recompensed with the like of it, and whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, these shall enter the Garden, in which they shall be given sustenance without measure |

Literal Who made/did a sin/crime so (he) will not be reimbursed except equal/alike to it, and who made/did correct/righteous deeds from a male or a female, and he is believing, so those they enter the Paradise, (they are) being provided for in it, without account/calculation |
