Quran with English translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 77 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۚ فَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِي نَعِدُهُمۡ أَوۡ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُونَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 77]
﴿فاصبر إن وعد الله حق فإما نرينك بعض الذي نعدهم أو نتوفينك﴾ [غَافِر: 77]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So persevere in patience, for the promise of God is true, and whether We show you some part of what We promise them, or We take your soul before that, it is to Us that they will all return |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So persevere (and be patient), indeed God’s promise is true. And whether We show you some of that which We promised them (the punishment) or We make you die (before that), they are returned to Us |
| Ali Quli Qarai So be patient! Allah’s promise is indeed true. Whether We show you a part of what We promise them, or take you away [before that], [in any case] they will be brought back to Us |
| Ali Unal So, be patient (O Messenger), for surely God’s promise is true. Whether We let you witness some of what We have promised them, or whether We cause you to die (before it befalls them), still it is to Us that they will return |
| Hamid S Aziz So be patient (O Muhammad), verily the promise of Allah is true. Whether We let you see part of what We promise them, or whether We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned |
| John Medows Rodwell Therefore be thou steadfast in patience: for the promise of God is truth: and whether we shall make thee see part of the woes with which we threatened them, or whether we cause thee first to die, unto us shall they be brought back |
| Literal So be patient, that truly God`s promise (is) true/truth , so either We show you/make you understand some of which We promise them, or We make you die, so to Us they be returned |
