Quran with English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 13 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿فَإِنۡ أَعۡرَضُواْ فَقُلۡ أَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ صَٰعِقَةٗ مِّثۡلَ صَٰعِقَةِ عَادٖ وَثَمُودَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 13]
﴿فإن أعرضوا فقل أنذرتكم صاعقة مثل صاعقة عاد وثمود﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 13]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But if they turn away say, “I have warned you of a stunning punishment like that which overtook the ‘Ad and the Thamud.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So if they stay away, then say: I warn you of a thunderbolt like thunderbolt of Aad and Thamud |
| Ali Quli Qarai But if they turn away, say, ‘I warn you of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt of ‘Ad and Thamud.’ |
| Ali Unal If they turn away in aversion, say (to them): "I have warned you of a punishment striking like the lightning (that struck the tribes of) Ad and Thamud |
| Hamid S Aziz But if they turn aside, then say: "I have warned you of a scourge like the scourge of A´ad and Thamud |
| John Medows Rodwell If they turn away, then SAY: I warn you of a tempest, like the tempest of Ad and Themoud |
| Literal So if they objected/opposed , so say: "I warned/gave you notice (of) a fire falling from the sky accompanied by thunderous noise/destructive torture equal/alike to Aad and Thamud`s fire falling from the sky accompanied by thunderous noise/destructive torture |
| Mir Anees Original So if they turn away then say, “I have warned you ( of a ) thunderbolt like the thunderbolt ( which had fallen on the people of ) Aad and Samood.” |
