Quran with English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 25 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿۞ وَقَيَّضۡنَا لَهُمۡ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُواْ لَهُم مَّا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فِيٓ أُمَمٖ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 25]
﴿وقيضنا لهم قرناء فزينوا لهم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم وحق عليهم﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 25]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And We have destined for them close companions, who made alluring to them that which was before them and behind them, and the accusation among the previous generations of jinn and humans who have passed away is proven against them, for they are utterly lost |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We assigned companions for them who made what is in front of them and what is behind them look beautiful to them, and the word (of punishment) about groups of Jinn and humans who passed away before them became due on them, indeed they were losers |
| Ali Quli Qarai We have assigned them companions who make their present [conduct] and future [state] seem decorous to them, and the word became due against them along with the nations of jinn and humans that passed away before them. They were indeed losers |
| Ali Unal (In return for their preferring unbelief and sinfulness over belief and piety) We have assigned them comrades (of satanic disposition, not right-minded) who deck out their past (deeds) and their present (intentions) to be appealing to them. And the word (the sentence of punishment passed) on the communities of jinn and humankind before them (who were self-righteous in the same way) has also been their due. Surely they are the losers |
| Hamid S Aziz And We have appointed for them comrades (in the world) who made fair-seeming to them what is before them and what is behind them (in their future and their past). And the sentence concerning the nations of jinn and men that have passed away before them is |
| John Medows Rodwell And we will appoint Satans as their fast companions; for it was they who made their present and future state seem fair and right to them; and the sentence passed on the peoples of Djinn and men who flourished before them hath become their due, and they shall perish |
| Literal And We predestined/assigned for them companions , so they decorated/beautified for them what (is) between their hands, and what (is) behind them, and the saying/words became true/truth on them in nations (that) had passed from before them from the Jinns, and the human/mankind, that they truly were losers |
| Mir Anees Original And We have appointed comrades for them, so they make fair seeming to them that which is before them ( future ) and that which is behind them . And the word has proved true against them, ( as ) among the communities of the jinn and mankind that have passed away before them, ( that ) they will certainly be losers |
