﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسۡبُنَا مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَهۡتَدُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 104]
﴿وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا إلى ما أنـزل الله وإلى الرسول قالوا حسبنا﴾ [المَائدة: 104]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When it is said to them, “Come to what God has revealed, come to the messenger. They say, “Enough for us are the ways we found our fathers following.” What, even though their fathers were void of knowledge and guidance |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when they are told to come to what God sent down and to the messenger, they say what we found our fathers on it, is enough for us, even though their fathers did not know anything and they were not guided |
| Ali Quli Qarai When they are told, ‘Come to what Allah has sent down and [come] to the Apostle,’ they say, ‘Sufficient for us is what we have found our fathers following.’ What, even if their fathers did not know anything and were not guided |
| Ali Unal When it is said to them, "Come (in obedience) to what God has sent down and to the Messenger (to whom the Qur’an is being revealed), they (refuse to think, and instead) say: "Enough for us (are the ways) that we found our forefathers on."
