Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 22 - المَائدة - Page - Juz 6
﴿قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوۡمٗا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَا فَإِن يَخۡرُجُواْ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّا دَٰخِلُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 22]
﴿قالوا ياموسى إن فيها قوما جبارين وإنا لن ندخلها حتى يخرجوا منها﴾ [المَائدة: 22]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They said, “O Moses, in this land is a people of exceeding strength. Never will we enter it until they leave it, but when they leave, then will we enter.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They said: Moses, indeed there are tyrant people in there and we will never enter it until they go out of it, and when they go out of it then we enter |
| Ali Quli Qarai They said, ‘O Moses, there are a tyrannical people in it. We will not enter it until they leave it. But once they leave it, we will go in.’ |
| Ali Unal They said: "Moses, therein live a people of exceeding strength: we cannot enter it unless they depart from it; so if they depart from it, then we will surely enter it |
| Hamid S Aziz They said, "O Moses! Verily, therein are giants; and we will surely not enter therein until they go out from thence; when they depart, then will we enter |
| John Medows Rodwell They said, "O Moses! Therein are men of might. And verily, we can by no means enter it till they be gone forth. But if they go forth from it, then verily will we enter in |
| Literal They said: "You Moses, that in it (is) a nation (of) tyrants/rebels , and that we will never/not enter it until they get out from it, so if they get out from it, so we are entering |
| Mir Anees Original They said, "O Musa ! there are people therein who are exceedingly strong, and we will not enter it till they go out from it, but if they go out from it then we will enter |
