Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 72 - المَائدة - Page - Juz 6
﴿لَقَدۡ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمۡۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُ ٱلنَّارُۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنۡ أَنصَارٖ ﴾
[المَائدة: 72]
﴿لقد كفر الذين قالوا إن الله هو المسيح ابن مريم وقال المسيح﴾ [المَائدة: 72]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They do blaspheme who say, “God is Christ the son of Mary.” But what Christ said was, “O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord.” Whoever joins other gods with God, He will forbid him the garden, and the fire will be his abode. For the wrongdoers there will be no one to help |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Those who said that the Christ, son of Mary, is God have certainly disbelieved, while Christ said: children of Israel, serve God my Master and your Master. Indeed whoever associates (any partner) with God, then God has certainly forbidden the garden to him and his place is in the fire, and there is no helper for the wrongdoers |
| Ali Quli Qarai They are certainly faithless who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.’ But the Messiah had said, ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord, and your Lord. Indeed whoever ascribes partners to Allah, Allah shall forbid him [entry into] paradise, and his refuge shall be the Fire, and the wrongdoers will not have any helpers.’ |
| Ali Unal Assuredly they have disbelieved who say: God is the Messiah, son of Mary, whereas the Messiah himself proclaimed: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever associates partners with God, God has surely made Paradise forbidden to him, and his refuge is the Fire. And the wrongdoers will have no helpers |
| Hamid S Aziz They surely disbelieve who say, "Verily, Allah is the Messiah the son of Mary;" but the Messiah himself said, "O children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." (JohnVerily, he who associates anything with Allah, Allah hath) |
| Literal Those who said: "That God, He is the Messiah Mary`s son," had disbelieved, and the Messiah, said: "You, Israel`s sons and daughters, worship God, my Lord and your Lord, that he who shares/makes partners with God, so He had forbidden on him the Paradise, and his shelter/refuge (is) the fire , and (there are) no victoriors/saviors to the unjust/oppressors |
| Mir Anees Original hey have indeed not believed who say, "Allah is certainly the Messiah, the son of Maryam." Whereas the Messiah had said, "O children of Israel ! serve Allah, my Fosterer and your Fosterer, whoever associates partners with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden and his settling place will be the fire, and there will be no helpers for the unjust |
