Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 80 - المَائدة - Page - Juz 6
﴿تَرَىٰ كَثِيرٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتَوَلَّوۡنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ لَهُمۡ أَنفُسُهُمۡ أَن سَخِطَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَفِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ هُمۡ خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 80]
﴿ترى كثيرا منهم يتولون الذين كفروا لبئس ما قدمت لهم أنفسهم أن﴾ [المَائدة: 80]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al You see many of them turning in friendship to the unbelievers. Wrong indeed is that which their souls have sent forward before them. God's punishment is on them, and they will live in torment |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad You see many of them turning (for support) to those who disbelieved. Indeed what their own self sent ahead for them was bad, to make God angry with them and they remain in punishment forever |
| Ali Quli Qarai You see many of them fraternizing with the faithless. Surely evil is what they have sent ahead for their souls, as Allah is displeased with them and they shall remain in punishment [forever] |
| Ali Unal You see many of them (the Jews) taking those who disbelieve as allies and friends (instead of allying with the Messenger and the believers). Evil indeed is what they themselves send ahead for themselves (for their future and for the life hereafter), so that God will condemn them, and they will abide in the punishment |
| Hamid S Aziz Thee will see many of them taking those who disbelieve for their friends. Surely, evil is that which their souls have sent before them, for Allah´s wrath is on them, and in the torment shall they dwell |
| John Medows Rodwell Thou shalt see many of them make friends of the infidels. Evil the actions which their own passions have sent on beforehand; for God is angry with them, and in torment shall they abide for ever |
| Literal You see many from them, they follow those who disbelieved, how bad (is) what their selves advanced/understood for them, that God became angry/dissatisfied on them, and in the torture they are immortally/eternally |
| Mir Anees Original You see many of them turning (in friendship) towards those who do not believe, evil is that which their souls have sent forth for them, (because of ) that Allah is displeased with them and they will stay in the punishment |
