Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 136 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَجَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَرۡثِ وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ نَصِيبٗا فَقَالُواْ هَٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعۡمِهِمۡ وَهَٰذَا لِشُرَكَآئِنَاۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَآئِهِمۡ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَآئِهِمۡۗ سَآءَ مَا يَحۡكُمُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 136]
﴿وجعلوا لله مما ذرأ من الحرث والأنعام نصيبا فقالوا هذا لله بزعمهم﴾ [الأنعَام: 136]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Out of what God has produced in abundance in land and in livestock, they assigned Him a share. They say according to their desires, “This is for God, and this for our partners.” But the share of their partners does not reach God, while the share of God reaches their partners. Terrible is their assignment |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And they put aside a share for God from the crops and the livestock that He created, and they said by their claim that this is for God and this is for our partners (of God). Then what was for their partners (of God) did not reach God, but what was for God reached their partners. What they judge is bad |
| Ali Quli Qarai They dedicate a portion to Allah out of what He has created of the crops and cattle, and say, ‘This is for Allah,’ so do they maintain, ‘and this is for our partners.’ But what is for their partners does not reach Allah, and what is for Allah reaches their partners. Evil is the judgement that they make |
| Ali Unal They assign to God, of the produce and cattle that He has created, a portion, and they say: "This is God’s" – so they assert – "and this (the rest) is for our associate-deities." Then (acting in what they deem to their own interest), what is assigned for their "associate-deities" does not reach God, while what is assigned for God reaches their "associate-deities." How evil is what they ordain as laws (and how badly they enforce them) |
