Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 68 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 7
﴿وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 68]
﴿وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث﴾ [الأنعَام: 68]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When you see people engaged in vain talk about Our signs, ignore them until they talk of something different. If Satan makes you forget, then after remembering, do not sit in the company of those who do wrong |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when you see those who enter into (confusing/useless/false or mocking) discussion about Our signs, then stay away from them until they enter into a conversation other than it. And if Satan makes you forget, then do not sit with the wrongdoing people after remembering |
| Ali Quli Qarai When you see those who gossip impiously about Our signs, avoid them until they engage in some other discourse; but if Satan makes you forget, then, after remembering, do not sit with the wrongdoing lot |
| Ali Unal When you meet such as indulge in (blasphemous) talk about Our Revelations, turn away from them until they enter into some other discourse. And should Satan cause you to forget, no longer remain, after recollection, in the company of such wrongdoing people |
| Hamid S Aziz When you see those who plunge deeply into vain discussion of Our Signs (revelations), turn away from them until they discuss another topic. It may be that Satan makes you forget, but sit not, after you have remembered, with the congregation of the faithle |
| John Medows Rodwell And when thou seest those who busy themselves with cavilling at our signs, withdraw from them till they busy themselves in some other subject: and if Satan cause thee to forget this, sit not, after recollection, with the ungodly people |
| Literal And if you saw those who plunge into/engage in conversation (interpreting beyond the actual Koranic text) in Our verses/evidences, so turn away from them until they plunge into/engage in conversation in an information/speech other than it, and if the devil makes you forget, so do not sit/remain after the remembrance/reminder with the nation, the unjust/oppressive |
