Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taghabun ayat 5 - التغَابُن - Page - Juz 28
﴿أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ﴾
[التغَابُن: 5]
﴿ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين كفروا من قبل فذاقوا وبال أمرهم ولهم عذاب﴾ [التغَابُن: 5]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Has not the story reached you, of those who rejected faith? So they tasted the painful result of their conduct, and they had a terrible penalty |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Did not news of those who disbelieved in the past come to you? They tasted the bad result of their affair, and they have a painful punishment |
| Ali Quli Qarai Has there not come to you the account of those who were faithless before? They tasted the evil consequence of their conduct, and there is a painful punishment for them |
| Ali Unal Have there not come to you the illustrative histories of those who disbelieved before, and therefore tasted the evil results of their deeds? And (in the Hereafter) there is for them a painful punishment |
| Hamid S Aziz Has there not come to you the story of those who disbelieved in olden times, then tasted the evil consequences of their conduct, and they had a painful doom |
| John Medows Rodwell Hath not the story reached you of those who disbelieved of yore, and therefore tasted the evil consequences of their doings? And a sore punishment doth await them |
| Literal Did not news/information come to you (of) those who disbelieved from before? So they tasted/experienced their matter`s/affair`s severity/bad consequences , and for them (is) a painful torture |
