Quran with English translation - Surah At-Tahrim ayat 3 - التَّحرِيم - Page - Juz 28
﴿وَإِذۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضِ أَزۡوَٰجِهِۦ حَدِيثٗا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتۡ بِهِۦ وَأَظۡهَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ عَرَّفَ بَعۡضَهُۥ وَأَعۡرَضَ عَنۢ بَعۡضٖۖ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِۦ قَالَتۡ مَنۡ أَنۢبَأَكَ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَ نَبَّأَنِيَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ ﴾
[التَّحرِيم: 3]
﴿وإذ أسر النبي إلى بعض أزواجه حديثا فلما نبأت به وأظهره الله﴾ [التَّحرِيم: 3]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When the messenger disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives, and she then divulged it, and God made it known to him, he confirmed part of it and avoided a part. Then when he told her of it she said, “Who told you this?” He said, “He Who told me, knows all and is well acquainted with all things.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when the prophet confidentially told a saying to one of his wives, then when she told (the other) about it, God informed him of it, making known some of it and avoided some. So when he told her about it, she said: who told you about this? He said: the knowledgeable, the well informed told me |
Ali Quli Qarai When the Prophet confided a matter to one of his wives, but when she divulged it [instead of guarding the secret] and Allah apprised him about it, he acquainted [her] with part of the matter and ignored part of it. So when he told her about it, she said, ‘Who informed you about it?’ He said, ‘The All-knowing and the All-aware has informed me.’ |
Ali Unal (It so happened that) the Prophet confided something to one of his wives, and when she divulged it (to another), and God acquainted him of it, he made known part of it, and missed out part. Literal And when the prophet confided to some (of) his wives an information/speech, so when she informed with it (others) and God made it apparent/visible on (to) him, he made some of it known and he opposed from some, so when he informed her with it, she said: "Who informed you (of) this?" He said: "The knowledgeable, the expert/experienced informed me |
