Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Qalam ayat 51 - القَلَم - Page - Juz 29
﴿وَإِن يَكَادُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَيُزۡلِقُونَكَ بِأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ لَمَّا سَمِعُواْ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجۡنُونٞ ﴾
[القَلَم: 51]
﴿وإن يكاد الذين كفروا ليزلقونك بأبصارهم لما سمعوا الذكر ويقولون إنه لمجنون﴾ [القَلَم: 51]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And the unbelievers would nearly trip you up with their eyes when they hear the message and they say, “Surely he is possessed.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And those who disbelieved almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: he is certainly mad |
Ali Quli Qarai Indeed the faithless almost devour you with their eyes when they hear this Reminder, and they say, ‘He is indeed crazy.’ |
Ali Unal Those who disbelieve would (if they could) strike you down with their looks because of hatred and enmity, when they hear the Reminder, and they say: "Surely he is a madman |
Hamid S Aziz And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the Reminder (Quran), and they say, "Most surely he is mad (or possessed) |

Literal And if those who disbelieved were about/almost to make you stumble/slip (E) with their eyesights when they heard/listened (to) the remembrance/reminder (the Koran), and they say: "That he truly is mad/insane (E) |
