﴿كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَآ أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَيَّامِ ٱلۡخَالِيَةِ ﴾
[الحَاقة: 24]
﴿كلوا واشربوا هنيئا بما أسلفتم في الأيام الخالية﴾ [الحَاقة: 24]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “Eat and drink with full satisfaction, because of that which you sent before you, in days gone by.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad (They are told): eat and drink joyfully for what you sent in advance in the days gone by |
| Ali Quli Qarai [He will be told]: ‘Enjoy your food and drink, for what you had sent in advance in past days [for your future life].’ |
| Ali Unal Eat and drink to your hearts’ content for all that you sent ahead in advance in days past (in anticipation of this Day) |
| Hamid S Aziz Eat and drink pleasantly for what you did beforehand in the days gone by |
| John Medows Rodwell Eat ye and drink with healthy relish, as the meed of what ye sent on beforehand in the days which are past |
| Literal Eat and drink pleasurable/wholesome/tasty because (of) what you advanced in the days/times, the past/expired |
| Mir Anees Original (It will be said to him), “Eat and drink pleasantly because of that which you sent before you during the days that are gone (i.e. during the life of the world).” |
