Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 10 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَلَقَدۡ مَكَّنَّٰكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَۗ قَلِيلٗا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 10]
﴿ولقد مكناكم في الأرض وجعلنا لكم فيها معايش قليلا ما تشكرون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 10]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It is We Who have placed you with authority on earth, and provided you with means for the fulfillment of your life. Little is the thanks that you give |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We have certainly established you firmly on the earth, and We put means of life (and survival) for you in there. You give little thanks |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly We have established you on the earth, and made in it [various] means of livelihood for you. Little do you thank |
| Ali Unal Indeed, We have established you on the earth (O humankind, endowed you with great potential) and arranged for your livelihood in it. Scarcely do you give thanks |
| Hamid S Aziz We have given you power (authority) in the earth, and provided for you therein the means of self-fulfilment (livelihood, opportunities, resources, faculties); little thanks give ye |
| John Medows Rodwell And now have we stabilished you on the earth, and given you therein the supports of life. How little do ye give thanks |
| Literal And We had strengthened/empowered you in the earth/Planet Earth, and We made for you in it livelihood/sustenance, little (is) what you thank/be grateful |
| Mir Anees Original And We have established you in the earth and We have made therein (means) of your livelihood, (but) the gratitude which you express is little |
