Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 137 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 9
﴿وَأَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُواْ يُسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ مَشَٰرِقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَغَٰرِبَهَا ٱلَّتِي بَٰرَكۡنَا فِيهَاۖ وَتَمَّتۡ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ عَلَىٰ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْۖ وَدَمَّرۡنَا مَا كَانَ يَصۡنَعُ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَقَوۡمُهُۥ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡرِشُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 137]
﴿وأورثنا القوم الذين كانوا يستضعفون مشارق الأرض ومغاربها التي باركنا فيها وتمت﴾ [الأعرَاف: 137]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And We made a people considered weak, inheritors of lands in both East and West, lands where We sent down Our blessings. The promise of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy. And We destroyed what they designed and what Pharaoh and his people constructed |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We made the group who were weakened inherit east of the land and its west which We blessed it. And the good word (promise) of your Master fulfilled for the children of Israel because of their patience (and perseverance), and We destroyed what Pharaoh and his people were building and what (structures) they were erecting |
| Ali Quli Qarai We made the people who were abased the heirs to the east and west of the land which We had blessed, and your Lord’s best word [of promise] was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of their patience, and We destroyed what Pharaoh and his people had built and what they used to erect |
| Ali Unal And We made the people who had been persecuted and oppressed (for centuries) inherit all the easts and wests (the whole length and breadth) of the land that We had blessed (with benefits for humankind). And your Lord’s gracious word to the Children of Israel was fulfilled, for they had endured patiently; and We obliterated what the Pharaoh and his people had produced (by art or industry), and what they had erected (of castles, palaces, gardens, and the like) |
| Hamid S Aziz And We gave unto a people, despised and weak, an inheritance, lands in both east and west, lands which We had blessed. And the good promise of your Lord was fulfiled on the children of Israel, because they were patient and constant. And We utterly destroy |
| John Medows Rodwell And we gave to the people who had been brought so low, the eastern and the western lands, which we had blessed as an heritage: and the good word of thy Lord was fulfilled on the children of Israel because they had borne up with patience: and we destroyed the works and the structures of Pharaoh and his people |
| Literal And We made the nation, those who were being weakened inherit the earth`s/Planet Earth`s sun rises/easts, and its sunsets , that We blessed in it, and your Lord`s word/expression the good (is) completed on Israel`s sons and daughters because (of) what they were patient, and We destroyed what Pharaoh and his nation were making/producing , and what they were building of trellised or wooden buildings/raising/supporting/inhabiting |
| Mir Anees Original And We made those people who were considered to be weak, inherit the eastern parts of the land and the western parts thereof which We had blessed, and the good word of your Fosterer was fulfilled for the children of Israel because of their patience. And We destroyed that which Firawn and his people had built and that which they had erected |
