Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 141 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 9
﴿وَإِذۡ أَنجَيۡنَٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 141]
﴿وإذ أنجيناكم من آل فرعون يسومونكم سوء العذاب يقتلون أبناءكم ويستحيون نساءكم﴾ [الأعرَاف: 141]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh’s people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your sons and kept alive your females. In that was a momentous trial from your Lord |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And (remember) when We saved you from Pharaoh’s people, who imposed the worst punishment on you, killing your sons and letting your women live. And in that there was a great test from your Master |
| Ali Quli Qarai And when We delivered you from Pharaoh’s clan who inflicted on you a terrible torment, slaughtering your sons and sparing your women, and there was a great test in that from your Lord |
| Ali Unal And (remember, O Children of Israel,) when We saved you from clan of the Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the most evil suffering (by enslaving you to such laborious tasks as construction, transportation and farming), slaughtering your sons and letting live your womenfolk (for further humiliation and suffering). In that was a grievous trial from your Lord |
| Hamid S Aziz And (remember) when We saved you from Pharaoh´s people who wrought you evil woe, slaying your sons, and sparing your women. In that was a mighty trial from your Lord |
| John Medows Rodwell And remember when we rescued you from the people of Pharaoh they had laid on you a cruel affliction; they slew your sons, and let only your daughters live, and in this was a great trial from your Lord |
| Literal And if We saved/rescued you from Pharaoh`s family, they humiliate/impose upon you the punishment`s evil/harm , they kill your sons and they shame/keep alive your women, and in that (is) a great test from your Lord |
| Mir Anees Original And (remember) when We delivered you from the people of Firawn who afflicted you with an evil punishment : they killed your sons and left alive your women, and in that there was a great trial (for you) from your Fosterer |
| Mir Aneesuddin And (remember) when We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh who afflicted you with an evil punishment : they killed your sons and left alive your women, and in that there was a great trial (for you) from your Lord |
