Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 140 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 9
﴿قَالَ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِيكُمۡ إِلَٰهٗا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 140]
﴿قال أغير الله أبغيكم إلها وهو فضلكم على العالمين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 140]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al He said, “Should I seek for you a god other than God, when it is God Who has endowed you with gifts above the nations?” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He said: should I look for a god other than God for you, while He preferred you over all other people |
| Ali Quli Qarai He said, ‘Shall I find you a god other than Allah, while He has graced you over all the nations?’ |
| Ali Unal He said: "What! shall I seek a deity for you other than God, when He has exalted you above all other people (through faith and the true religion with which He has favored you) |
| Hamid S Aziz He said, "Shall I seek for you a god other than Allah, when He has preferred you above all creatures |
| John Medows Rodwell He said, "Shall I seek any other god for you than God, when it is He who hath preferred you above all other peoples |
| Literal He said: "Is other than God a god I wish/desire (for) you, and He preferred/favoured you over the creations all together/(universes) |
| Mir Anees Original He said, "Should I seek for you, a god other than Allah, when He has favoured you above the worlds |
| Mir Aneesuddin He said, "Should I seek for you, a god other than God, when He has favoured you above the worlds |
