Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 4 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَكَم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأۡسُنَا بَيَٰتًا أَوۡ هُمۡ قَآئِلُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 4]
﴿وكم من قرية أهلكناها فجاءها بأسنا بياتا أو هم قائلون﴾ [الأعرَاف: 4]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al How many towns have We caused to perish? Our punishment took them all of a sudden by night, or while they slept during their afternoon rest |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And how many towns did We destroy, that Our punishment came to them by night or while they were resting (during daytime) |
| Ali Quli Qarai How many a town We have destroyed! Our punishment came to it at night, or while they were taking a midday nap |
| Ali Unal How many a township We have destroyed (because they did not pay heed to Our warning). Our scourge fell upon them at night or when they were taking their ease in the noontime |
| Hamid S Aziz Yet how many a town have We destroyed, and Our wrath came upon it by night, or while they slept at noon |
