Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ma‘arij ayat 11 - المَعَارج - Page - Juz 29
﴿يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ ﴾
[المَعَارج: 11]
﴿يبصرونهم يود المجرم لو يفتدي من عذاب يومئذ ببنيه﴾ [المَعَارج: 11]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Though they will be put in sight of each other. Those who are corrupt, their desire will be that he could redeem himself from the penalty of that day with his children |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad (although) they are made to see them. The guilty wish to redeems himself from punishment of that day by (offering) his children |
| Ali Quli Qarai [though] they will be placed within each other’s sight. The guilty one will wish he could ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his children |
| Ali Unal Though they will be in sight of each other. Every disbelieving criminal will yearn to ransom himself from the punishment of that Day even by his sons |
| Hamid S Aziz Though they shall be given sight of each other. The guilty one would fain redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by sacrificing his children |
