Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 47 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 10
﴿لَوۡ خَرَجُواْ فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمۡ إِلَّا خَبَالٗا وَلَأَوۡضَعُواْ خِلَٰلَكُمۡ يَبۡغُونَكُمُ ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ وَفِيكُمۡ سَمَّٰعُونَ لَهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 47]
﴿لو خرجوا فيكم ما زادوكم إلا خبالا ولأوضعوا خلالكم يبغونكم الفتنة وفيكم﴾ [التوبَة: 47]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al If they had come with you, they would not have contributed anything but disorder, hurrying back and forth in your presence, and sowing sedition among you. And there would have been among you, some who would have listened to them. But God knows well those who do wrong |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad If they had come out among you, they would have added nothing to you but trouble, and they would have actively participated among you looking for turmoil (and disorder), and some among you would have listened for them (and spied for them). God knows the wrongdoers |
| Ali Quli Qarai Had they gone forth with you, they would have only added to your troubles, and they would have surely spread rumours in your midst, seeking to cause sedition among you. They have some spies among you, and Allah knows best the wrongdoers |
| Ali Unal If they had gone forth among you, they would have brought no addition to you except trouble, and would have run about in your midst seeking to stir up sedition among you. Among you were some who were prone to heed them. God has full knowledge of the wrongdoers |
| Hamid S Aziz Had they gone forth with you they would have made you naught but more trouble, and they would have hurried about amongst you creating a sedition; and amongst you are some who would have listened to them; but Allah knows those who are evil-workers |
| John Medows Rodwell Had they taken the field with you, they would only have added a burden to you, and have hurried about among you, stirring you up to sedition; and some there are among you who would have listened to them: and God knoweth the evil doers |
| Literal If they got out/emerged in between you, they did not increase you except degeneration/corruption and they would have put in between and around you, (and) they desired (for) you the treason/misguidance , and in you (there are those) hearing/listening to them, and God (is) knowledgeable with (of) the unjust/oppressive |
| Mir Anees Original Had they gone forth with you they would not have increased for you anything but loss, and would have hurried to and fro among you seeking your affliction, and among you there are some who would have listened to them, and Allah is the Knower of those who are unjust |
