﴿قَالُواْ ٱدۡعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوۡنُهَاۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٞ صَفۡرَآءُ فَاقِعٞ لَّوۡنُهَا تَسُرُّ ٱلنَّٰظِرِينَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 69]
﴿قالوا ادع لنا ربك يبين لنا ما لونها قال إنه يقول إنها﴾ [البَقَرَة: 69]
| Shabbir Ahmed They said, "Call for us unto your Lord that He make it clear to us of what color she is." Moses answered, "Well, she is a yellow cow. Bright is her color, pleasing to beholders |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed They said: "Pray to your Lord on our behalf to explain to us her color." He said: "He says: A fawn-colored calf (heifer, also name of this Sura), pure and rich in shade, admired by (its) seers |
