﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُواْ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 76]
﴿ولقد أخذناهم بالعذاب فما استكانوا لربهم وما يتضرعون﴾ [المؤمنُون: 76]
| Shabbir Ahmed And, indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor implored Him |
