﴿وَذَٰلِكُمۡ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمۡ أَرۡدَىٰكُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 23]
﴿وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 23]
| Shabbir Ahmed And that very assumption that you thought about your Lord has brought you to ruin, and so now you find yourselves among the losers |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed And this thought of yours which you used to have about your Lord, has brought you to (your) destruction, and (now) you have become of those who are totally lost |
| Talal A Itani New Translation It is that thought of yours about your Lord that led you to ruin—so you became of the losers |

| Umm Muhammad And that was your assumption which you assumed about your Lord. It has brought you to ruin, and you have become among the losers |
| Wahiduddin Khan but these thoughts which you entertained concerning your Lord, have brought you to destruction, and [now] you are among the utterly lost |
| Yusuf Ali Orig But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost |
