Quran with English_Arabic translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 25 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿۞ وَقَيَّضۡنَا لَهُمۡ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُواْ لَهُم مَّا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فِيٓ أُمَمٖ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 25]
﴿وقيضنا لهم قرناء فزينوا لهم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم وحق عليهم﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 25]
| Shabbir Ahmed (In the life of the world) We assigned them comrades who made pleasing to them their present and past actions. (The Divine Law so applied to them (43:36). "Birds of the same feather flock together.") - And so, the Word has come to pass for them as it did concerning the communities that lived before them, among the rural and the urban. Verily, they all are losers |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed And We have given to them close companions (of the same nature, those) who made it pleasing to them what was before them and behind them; And the sentence (of Judgment) among the earlier generation of jinns' and men, who have passed away before them, is clearly against them; For they are totally lost |
