﴿وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَيۡهِ مَنۡ أَنَابَ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 27]
﴿ويقول الذين كفروا لولا أنـزل عليه آية من ربه قل إن الله﴾ [الرَّعد: 27]
| Abdel Haleem The disbelievers say, ‘Why has no miracle been sent down to him from his Lord?’ [Prophet], say, ‘God leaves whoever He will to stray, and guides to Himself those who turn towards Him |
| Abdul Hye And those who disbelieve say: “Why not a sign is sent down to him (Muhammad) from his Lord?” Say: “Surely, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides those who turn to Him in repentance |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali The Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Truly Allah leaveth, to stray, whom He will; But He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence |
