﴿لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 13]
﴿لا يؤمنون به وقد خلت سنة الأولين﴾ [الحِجر: 13]
| Abdel Haleem They will not believe in it. That was what happened with the peoples of long ago |
| Abdul Hye so they don’t believe in it (the Qur’an), though the examples of (Allah’s punishment of) the ancients have passed |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They believe not therein, and already the example of the ancients hath gone forth |
