﴿قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ ﴾
[الحِجر: 33]
﴿قال لم أكن لأسجد لبشر خلقته من صلصال من حمإ مسنون﴾ [الحِجر: 33]
| Abdel Haleem and he answered, ‘I will not bow to a mortal You created from dried clay, formed from dark mud.’ |
| Abdul Hye (Satan) said: “I am not the one to prostrate to a human whom You have created from clay of mud molded into shape.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali (Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi He said it was not for me that should prostrate myself unto a human being whom Thou hast created from ringing clay of loam moulded |
| Ahmed Ali How could I bow," said he, "before a mortal whom You created from fermented clay dried tingling hard |
