﴿قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَلَا يَمۡلِكُونَ كَشۡفَ ٱلضُّرِّ عَنكُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡوِيلًا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 56]
﴿قل ادعوا الذين زعمتم من دونه فلا يملكون كشف الضر عنكم ولا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 56]
| Abdel Haleem Say, ‘Call upon those you claim to be deities beside God: they have no power to remove or avert any harm from you.’ |
| Abdul Hye Say (O Muhammad): “Call to those whom you pretend (to be worthy of worship) besides Him. They have neither the power to remove the hardship from you nor even to change it.” |
