﴿فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمُۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡذِبُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 10]
﴿في قلوبهم مرض فزادهم الله مرضا ولهم عذاب أليم بما كانوا يكذبون﴾ [البَقَرَة: 10]
| Abdel Haleem There is a disease in their hearts, to which God has added more: agonizing torment awaits them for their persistent lying |
| Abdul Hye In their hearts there is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy), and Allah has increased their disease. For them there is a painful punishment because they used to tell lies |
