﴿بَلَىٰۚ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةٗ وَأَحَٰطَتۡ بِهِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُهُۥ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 81]
﴿بلى من كسب سيئة وأحاطت به خطيئته فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها﴾ [البَقَرَة: 81]
| Abdel Haleem Truly those who do evil and are surrounded by their sins will be the inhabitants of the Fire, there to remain |
| Abdul Hye Yes! Those who earn evil and their sins surround them, they are the inmates of the hellfire; they shall reside therein forever |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Nay, those who seek gain in evil, and are girt round by their sins,- they are companions of the Fire: Therein shall they abide (For ever) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi O Yea! whosoever earnoth vice and his sin hath encompassed him, those shall be the fellows of the Fire, as abiders therein |
| Ahmed Ali Why, they who have earned the wages of sin and are enclosed in error, are people of Hell, where they will abide for ever |
| Aisha Bewley No indeed! Those who accumulate bad actions and are surrounded by their mistakes, such people are the Companions of the Fire, remaining in it timelessly, for ever |
| A. J. Arberry Not so; whoso earns evil, and is encompassed by his transgression -- those are the inhabitants of the Fire; there they shall dwell forever |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly whoever commits misdeeds and is besieged by his iniquity —such shall be the inmates of the Fire, and they shall remain in it [forever] |
