﴿وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا يَأۡتِينَا بِـَٔايَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓۚ أَوَلَمۡ تَأۡتِهِم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 133]
﴿وقالوا لولا يأتينا بآية من ربه أو لم تأتهم بينة ما في﴾ [طه: 133]
| Abdel Haleem The disbelievers say, ‘Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?’ Have they not been given clear proof confirming what was in the earlier scriptures |
| Abdul Hye They say: “Why does he (Muhammad) not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has not proof (the Qur’an) came to them which is (contains teachings) of the previous Scriptures |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They say: "Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?" Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation |
