﴿وَكَمۡ قَصَمۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٖ كَانَتۡ ظَالِمَةٗ وَأَنشَأۡنَا بَعۡدَهَا قَوۡمًا ءَاخَرِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 11]
﴿وكم قصمنا من قرية كانت ظالمة وأنشأنا بعدها قوما آخرين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 11]
| Abdel Haleem How many communities of evildoers We have destroyed! How many others We have raised up in their places |
| Abdul Hye How many nations have We destroyed who were wrongdoers and raised up (replaced) them with other nations |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali How many were the populations We utterly destroyed because of their iniquities, setting up in their places other peoples |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And how many a city have We overthrown which were doing wrong, and We caused to grow up thereafter anot her nation |
| Ahmed Ali How many habitations that were sinful have We demolished utterly, and raised other people after them |
