﴿وَإِنۡ أَدۡرِي لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتۡنَةٞ لَّكُمۡ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 111]
﴿وإن أدري لعله فتنة لكم ومتاع إلى حين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 111]
| Abdel Haleem I do not know: this [time] may well be a test for you, and enjoyment for a while.’ |
| Abdul Hye And I don’t know, perhaps it (the delay) may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And know not; haply it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a season |
| Ahmed Ali I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while |
| Aisha Bewley For all I know it might be a trial for you and you will have enjoyment for a time.´ |
