﴿إِن نَّشَأۡ نُنَزِّلۡ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ءَايَةٗ فَظَلَّتۡ أَعۡنَٰقُهُمۡ لَهَا خَٰضِعِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 4]
﴿إن نشأ ننـزل عليهم من السماء آية فظلت أعناقهم لها خاضعين﴾ [الشعراء: 4]
Abdel Haleem If We had wished, We could have sent them down a sign from heaven, at which their necks would stay bowed in utter humility |
Abdul Hye If We will, We could send down a Verse to them from the heaven so their necks would bend to it in humility |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would became to it submissive |
Ahmed Ali We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed |
Aisha Bewley If We wished We could send down a Sign to them from heaven, before which their heads would be bowed low in subjection |
