﴿قَالُواْ بَلۡ وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفۡعَلُونَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 74]
﴿قالوا بل وجدنا آباءنا كذلك يفعلون﴾ [الشعراء: 74]
| Abdel Haleem They replied, ‘No, but this is what we saw our fathers doing.’ |
| Abdul Hye They said: “Nay, but we found our forefathers doing so.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They said: nay; but we found our fathers doing in this wise |
| Ahmed Ali They said: "No. But we found our fathers doing so |
