﴿قَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أُوْلُواْ قُوَّةٖ وَأُوْلُواْ بَأۡسٖ شَدِيدٖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ إِلَيۡكِ فَٱنظُرِي مَاذَا تَأۡمُرِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 33]
﴿قالوا نحن أولو قوة وأولو بأس شديد والأمر إليك فانظري ماذا تأمرين﴾ [النَّمل: 33]
| Abdel Haleem They replied, ‘We possess great force and power in war, but you are in command, so consider what orders to give us.’ |
| Abdul Hye They said: “We have power and great strength, and the matter is for you to command; so think what you will command.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They said: "We are endued with strength, and given to vehement war: but the command is with thee; so consider what thou wilt command |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They said: we are owners of power and owners of great violence, but the command is with thee; see then whatsoever thou shalt command |
| Ahmed Ali They said: "We are men of valour, and brave fighters. It is for you to decide. So consider what you should command |
