﴿إِنَّكَ لَا تَهۡدِي مَنۡ أَحۡبَبۡتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِينَ ﴾
[القَصَص: 56]
﴿إنك لا تهدي من أحببت ولكن الله يهدي من يشاء وهو أعلم﴾ [القَصَص: 56]
| Abdel Haleem You [Prophet] cannot guide everyone you love to the truth; it is God who guides whoever He will: He knows best those who will follow guidance |
| Abdul Hye Surely! You (O Muhammad) cannot guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. He knows the best of those who are guided |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance |
