﴿وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَوۡتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 63]
﴿ولئن سألتهم من نـزل من السماء ماء فأحيا به الأرض من بعد﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 63]
| Abdel Haleem If you ask them, ‘Who sends water down from the sky and gives life with it to the earth after it has died?’ they are sure to say, ‘God.’ Say, ‘Praise belongs to God!’ Truly, most of them do not use their reason |
| Abdul Hye And if you were to ask them: “Who sends down water (rain) from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its death?” They will surely reply: “Allah.” Say: “All the praises are to Allah!” But most of them have no sense |
